Jaime A. Irick
Jaime Irick is senior vice president, architectural coatings, United States and Canada, and global traffic solutions. He joined PPG’s architectural coatings business in May 2019 and was promoted to assume responsibility for the global traffic solutions business in May 2022, followed by promotion to his current role in May 2023.
An accomplished business executive with more than 25 years of experience leading complex global organizations across three Fortune 500 companies, Jaime currently has operating responsibility for approximately $3BB in revenue and 7,000 employees across two of PPG’s strategic business units (SBUs).
Prior to joining PPG, Jaime served as president of the billion-dollar Life Fitness division of Brunswick Corp. and transformed the company’s business strategy and product portfolio to focus on digital solutions that provided enhanced consumer experiences. Prior to joining Life Fitness, Jaime was a company officer at General Electric (GE), where he served in a variety of roles of increasing responsibility over 13 years, including profit and loss (P&L) leadership, sales leadership, and corporate strategy, working across GE Corporate, GE Lighting, GE Industrial and GE Energy.
Jaime is a West Point graduate, served five years as a field artillery officer in the U.S. Army, attained the rank of captain, and is a qualified Army airborne ranger. He earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Harvard University following his U.S. Army service.
Jaime serves on the boards of multiple nonprofit organizations and was recently elected as a director on the board of Illinois Tool Works Inc. (NYSE: ITW), a global industrial company. He also serves as the executive sponsor of PPG’s Black Employee Network.
Jaime resides in Pittsburgh, Pa., with his wife and their three children.
