PPG has committed to supporting local organizations on the frontlines of the escalating COVID-19 crisis in India through a donation to Give2Asia. As the second wave of COVID-19 in India is causing unprecedented devastation, the donation will support Give2Asia as it aids in critical, immediate relief efforts including providing emergency medical supplies and personal protective equipment (PPE) to frontline workers and nutritious meals and financial support to marginalized families.

PPG and Give2Asia have also partnered to open an online donation portal for PPG’s global employees. PPG will match personal financial contributions made by PPG employees to double the impact of the donations.
“Across India, tremendous challenges are mounting as the second wave of the COVID-19 crisis continues to strain medical infrastructures and members of the community,” said Kumar Padmanabhan, chief executive officer, PPG Asian Paints. “The PPG donation and employee contributions to Give2Asia will help local organizations provide aid where and when we can make the greatest impact.”
