PPG aerospace A320 Sliding Side and Aft Window Repair Program

PPG has received Federal Aviation Administration approval to repair sliding and aft fixed cockpit windows for Airbus A320 Family of aircraft, affording cost savings to airlines and other aircraft operators.

Prior to this new repair service, unserviceable window assemblies were discarded and new windows were purchased as a replacement. PPG’s repair program allows you to return all glass sliding side windows and aft fixed windows to PPG for repair.

Cost Savings
You will realize cost savings by reusing the retainers and replacing only the glass

Outstanding Service Life and Reliability
All repaired windows will use PPG's high performance Herculite II glass, advanced urethane interlayers, chrome free moisture seals, z-bar moisture barrier, and simplified clamp design for reparability

Simplified Inventory Management
PPG's repair program can repair any glass sliding side or aft fixed window regardless of the original manufacturer

Reduced Waste
On average, 8 pounds of metal waste is saved from landfill disposal for every repaired window. Program participation is simple.
