PPG's XYLAN® primers are a versatile range of substrate protection and adhesion performance solutions. Our products are designed to deliver increased longevity and durability for industrial bakeware and artisanal bakery applications when combined with topcoats and other layers to meet demanding non-stick and release requirements. 

Available in both solvent-borne and waterborne and options, Xylan primers have been specifically tested to perform in high-volume environments while maintaining compliance with strict food-contact standards.

  • Xylan 8221: Waterborne PTFE primer with excellent release 
  • Xylan 40-460: Anti-Corrosion Pre-primer 
  • Xylan 80-718: Solvent-borne Primer 
  • Xylan 80-787: Waterborne Primer
