Synthetic Paper for Digital Laser, Ink Jet and Thermal Transfer Printers

When you need a synthetic paper for short-run, variable-data and other customized digital print and label applications, PPG TESLIN® substrate is the proven solution.

Available in a variety of grades and label stocks, Teslin synthetic paper supports a wide range of digital printing technologies, including ink jet, laser and thermal transfer. Certified or qualified on HP Indigo, Kodak Nexpress, Xerox iGen3, Konica Minolta bizhub and many other brands, no other synthetic paper is compatible with as many digital print technologies as Teslin substrate.

  • Print durability – Lock in inks and toners to secure printed information and graphics, making labels nearly impervious to damage from abrasion and handling.
  • Strong bonds – Strong bonding to a variety of adhesive systems, enabling customized solutions for specialized labeling needs.
  • Easy application – Flexible and conformable to different packaging shapes and offer bubble-free label application.
  • Tamper-evident security – Permanently distort if alteration is attempted.
  • Exceptional durability – Withstand exposure to water ( BS 5609 section 2 and 3 certified for immersion in seawater ), steam and extreme low and high temperatures, and resists chemicals, solvents, tears and abrasion.
  • Easy, high-quality print – Offer compatibility with a wide range of print processes, including digital inkjet, laser and thermal transfer for on-demand and variable data printing—no coating or corona treatment required. Also, help minimize static buildup during digital printing, thereby improving print quality and throughput. ( Teslin substrate passes ESD S541 at 50 percent relative humidity).
