Xylan® 1000 Series High Temperature Low Friction Coatings

Yellow pipes and valves held together with stud bolts and nuts against a background of trees

Products

  • Xylan 1010: Solvent-borne, resin bonded high temperature resistant coating, formulated to reduce coefficient of friction, prevent scoring and galling or to provide secondary lubrication. Offers optimum low friction to wear ratio.
  • Xylan 1014: Solvent-borne, resin bonded high temperature resistant coating, formulated to prevent corrosion and reduce coefficient of friction. Contains a lower ratio of PTFE compared to bonding resin relative to Xylan 1010, as well as a less porous surface & improved hardness.
  • Xylan 1052: Solvent-borne, resin bonded high temperature resistant coating, formulated to reduce coefficient of friction under high load conditions. Can be used to prevent stick-slip. Contains MoS2 (Molybdenum Disulfide).
  • Xylan 1070: Solvent-borne, resin bonded high temperature resistant dry film with additional corrosion inhibitors, formulated for use on threaded components to deliver a wide range of performance characteristics in multiple industrial applications.
